The furthest outside-the-box design of anything we've done, this 105-acre oceanfront property has 13 greens and is designed so players can play cross-country, choosing their own routing on the fly. The task of designing holes, which could be played forward, backwards and sideways was one of the most complicated projects we've taken on, yet the result is simple fun in a magnificent setting. In the summers, a firetruck took the place of an irrigation system to get waters onto the fairways. In the spring of 2009, its Scottish simplicity made it the perfect setting for the filming of the movie: "Golf in the Kingdom".
