Since its opening in 2001, the sister course to Bandon Dunes has been a sensation in the press and for resort golfers from around the globe. It may well have been the best site for a golf course that any designer has been given since the 1920’s, but it was still a challenge to decide what to touch and what to leave and to execute the work seamlessly, so the course would look like it has been there forever. Since its opening we have been lucky enough to work on several more beautiful sites, but in the end this is the standard by which the rest of our courses must be measured.
